Many news websites, include lots of links to other pages within their content. You should emulate this as it helps your website. It also gives your visitors more to read.
Highlight your important keywords in bold, italics or by underlining them. In fact you can do all three. You should also break your articles down into subsections with highlighted sub-titles. If you have access to an in-built HTML editor for your website you can also tag your subtitles with header tags.
Keyword density is a measure of how often the same words appear in your content. The more times a word or phrase occurs in a page, the higher the density. Search engines may penalise your content if the keyword density is too high, so you should as much as possible use alternate phrases with the same meaning, or variations of your key phrases. You should also make your pages as long as five to seven hundred words.
If your content contains images you should name your images after your keywords. You can also include key phrases in your image captions and ALT tags.
